I have fun creating different marketing collateral – from newsletter articles to flyers, annual reports, presentation material and brochures. I enjoy researching background information, analyzing existing data and coming up with content and visuals that I deem valuable and understandable for the intended target audience.
United Way of Cayuga County
Auburn, New York
Redesigning and updating the marketing collateral and reaching out to local businesses for sponsorships for the 2017 fundraising campaign helped support a worthwhile cause, dozens of local organizations and programs, and thousands of people in the area.
City of Auburn
Auburn, New York
The objective was to create a brochure for residents and businesses that promotes Auburn as a full-service city and explains where city funds come from and how tax dollars are being used for city services. During my financial research and computations, I learned a lot about city operations and I tried to share information that I thought was valuable for residents like myself. I believe my monthly breakdown of taxes and service costs allows residents to put things in perspective and the “$1 image” illustrates how our tax dollars are divided up between the various taxing jurisdictions.
Central New York School Boards Association
East Syracuse, New York
From personal experience, I know about the importance and extent of school board service. Creating and illustrating a brochure that gives interested people an idea of how a Board of Education operates and what questions you should ask yourself (or find answers to) before you run for office, was very gratifying.
The Central New York School Boards Association represents and advocates for its member school boards on the state level. Companies who do business with school districts are valuable partners in supporting public education. Updating and illustrating a brochure that highlights the advantages of this sponsorship and marketing opportunity provided a tool to share with prospects.
